Kauai Lagoons Kiele Golf Course

The 18 holes, par 72, 7070 yards Kiele Course at Kauai Lagoons, overlooking the gateway to the island of Kauai in Hawaii, exudes a romantic tropical feeling with hints of European grandeur - a combination so sweet that it was named to Golf Magazine's elite list of Gold Medal golf resorts in 1998. No other golf course in Hawaii has more ocean holes than the Kiele course.

Legendary golfer Jack Nicklaus, architect of the Kiele Course at Kauai Lagoons, made but a single change to his original design because the terrain lent itself so well to his initial vision. There is little surprise that this spectactular par 72 resort course - one of two award-winning Nicklaus layouts at Kauai Lagoons - continues to garner praise for being one of the best golf courses in the entire Pacific.

Most players will discover almost immediately that the Kiele Course has a style uniquely its own. Fairways weave along imposing ocean cliffs high above Nawiliwili harbor and among nearly forty acres of fresh water lagoons that twist their way through the resort. Lush groves of exotic foliage thrive all around the course giving it a very tropical feel.

The Kiele Course will undergo realignment to holes 1, 9, 10, 14 and 15 in April/May 2007 (definititive start date unavailable). Upgraded Mokihana holes 1, 9, 10, 17 and 18 will be substituted in their places. The remainder of the original Kiele Course, including ocean holes 12, 13 and 16 and the island green 18th hole will remain in play. Please call for more information.
